I know, it's just something about them that I love. Originally I was looking for one when I found my 92x for a deal I couldn't refuse.

$2k for the body only... CP! CP!

For the $8k you are thinking about putting in you should be able to get a mint condition running WRX.

I've always wanted one from the second they came out. Now that I can afford a used bugeye I want one.

A buddy of mine did a JDM STi swap and it worked wonderfully. It required an ECU flash and bigger fuel pump. Are you in the Chicago area?

150 miles south of Chicago but I'm up there often. If I end up getting it though I'll probably buy a front clip off of the jdm sti.

According to the seller the body is in good condition. For 8k I'll have a full jdm bugeye sti swap. Price is not full cp but not great (I bought a "running" 92x aero for 2,000). Sometimes you don't buy things following a budget and I just would love a jdm sti bugeye.

The place my buddy had his motor installed was Flatline Motorsports in Warrenville (just west of Naperville). Apparently their bread and butter is repairing/tuning Subarus.

If you're heading that far north to Lake Villa, you might as well head north of the Cheddar Curtain and get yourself some New Glarus deliciousness!

I can do the motor install myself but I might need someone to do the electrical wiring. Thanks for the advice as I know I'll need a tune.

If you don't have a source for the front clip, they might be able to help you find one, too.

I found a suitable one on eBay but I need to buy the wrx first. Did your friend do a full wiring harness swap and do you know how roughly much it cost him to do the swap? Thanks again.
